Our Identity because of Jesus| Judges 6 & 7
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 3rd December 2017 6:00pm
This evening I want to continue to explorer our identity in Christ. This is important because who we think we are determines what we do. Using amongst others, the example of Gideon, Iwant to demonstrate how he had allowed the world to determine his identity, but also how he found his real identity.
Encouraging verse: The Lord is with you might warrior. Judges 6:12
Miracles and Blessings - The Blessings | Deuteronomy 28
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 5th November 2017 6:00pm
If I were to ask you whether you'd like to receive a miracle or blessing from God, I guess most of you would reply "a miracle". But tonight I want to examine why God's blessing is better than a miracle, and how we can live in God's abundant blessing.
The Blessed Cannot be Cursed | Numbers 22
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 29th October 2017 6:00pm
Praise Prayer & Healing Service
by Andrew Sharp, Sunday 22nd October 2017 6:00pm
Sunday evening we welcome my brother Andrew to minister. Guess what will be part of his message... Your healing is not dependent upon you, but upon what Jesus has already done. It's going to be a great time, bring your friends so they too can receive the goodness of God into their lives.
The Covenant with Abraham | Genesis 12
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 15th October 2017 6:00pm
Someone has asked me why our key text has a statement before it in their bible hinting it shouldn't be there because it does not appear in "the most reliable early manuscripts". Tonight I will start by answering why it can legitimately be included and is reliable. Then I'm going to illustrate that the Abrahamic covenant has always been a covenant all about grace; and that grace is not based upon man's goodness but upon God's goodness.
Signs and Wonders - Gideon | Judges 6
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 8th October 2017 6:00pm
When I started preparing this Sunday's message I did so with the intention of beginning to share an illustration from the life of Gideon demonstrating that his ministry was nothing to do with him, but all about God. But then I realised his story links into an expectation for miracles. So tonight I want to bring some principles from Judges 6 that will help us focus upon God and what He wants to accomplish through us.
Signs and Wonders - Be Transformed | Mark 16:14-20
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 1st October 2017 6:00pm
When it comes to seeing signs in and wonders in our lives, our experience rarely matches up with Scripture. The Scripture can't be wrong, so what's the problem? Part of the problem has to be a knowledge problem and knowing what God wants to do. This Sunday evening I want to think about how we can renew our minds and get to the place where we start thinking in line with God's will.
Helps to Hearing from God | Mark 16:14-20
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 24th September 2017 6:00pm
Signs and wonders - Hearing God's Voice | John 10:27
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 17th September 2017 6:00pm
Hearing God's voice speak to us is important. We will know when and how to witness, and receive direction from Him that will embolden us and give us confidence. Tonight I want to continue to talk about how we hear from God on an everyday basis.
Signs and wonders - Hearing God's Voice
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 10th September 2017 6:00pm
This evening as I continue to talk about signs and wonders in the church, I want to examine the importance of hearing from God. I want to demystify the experience and show that we were all created to hear his voice and it really is very simple.
Signs and wonders following - Stepping Out
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 27th August 2017 6:00pm

A Heart for the Lost
by Rebecca Taylor, Sunday 20th August 2017 6:00pm | Ephesians 2:1-10
This evening we will be looking at what it means to be burdened for the lost. God's heart breaks for those who do not know Him and our hearts should break too. This is what He wanted the early church to understand and act on, so how should the church respond today?
Ephesians 2:1-10
Signs and wonders following - Tongues
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 13th August 2017 6:00pm
When the bible does not match up to our experience the temptation is to change our understanding of the bible. The bible is clear that signs and wonders will follow those who preach about Jesus, so where is the problem? Do we need to change the bible, or do we need to change? Over the next couple of months I want to take a journey that will lead us into being a church where we match up with God's word.
Signs and wonders following

The bible is clear that signs and wonders will follow those who preach about Jesus, so where is the problem? Do we need to change the bible, or do we need to change? Tonight I want to think about the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and how a proper understanding of His role can trsnform how we will allow Him to flow through us and touch the lives of others.

Nehemiah 8 - The Joy of the Lord is your Strength
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 19th March 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 8:10
So by Chapter 8, the walls of Jerusalem had been rebuilt, and order had been restored. You'd have thought the people would have been full of rejoicing, but instead they were down in the dumps, weeping and crying. Nehemiah addresses the people, and declares, "the joy of the Lord is your strength". This Sunday evening we are going to consider how we too can know the joy of the Lord that can make us strong.
Nehemiah 7 - People Matter
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 12th March 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 7
Nehemiah Chapter 7 consists mainly of lists of names. It could be tempting to skip this chapter (especially since some of the names are difficult to pronounce) but these people are listed because they are important to God. This coming Sunday evening we will highlight what makes us so special to God, and what really matters to Him.
Nehemiah 7 - Integrity Matters
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 5th March 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 7
Nehemiah Chapter 7 consists mainly of lists of names. It could be tempting to skip this chapter (especially since some of the names are difficult to pronounce) but these people are listed because they are important to God. Nehemiah 6 - Dealing with Distractions
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 26th February 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 6
The rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem is nearly finished, but Nehemiah faces distractions that threaten to pull him away from finishing the job. This Sunday night we learn how Nehemiah remained focussed when so many things threatened to compromise the work.
Nehemiah 5 - Trouble and Strife
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 19th February 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 5
A month in, and the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalmen has come to a halt. This time is it not threats from without, but trouble and strife from within. There's hunger, there's high taxes, there's no money to pay the mortgage, and as a result the people are at one another's throats. Nehemiah is angry, but calmly addresses the situation. This Sunday night we're going to learn from Nehemiah's example of how to deal with injustices and complaints.
Nehemiah 4 - Praying & Watching
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 12th February 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 4:9
In Nehemiah 4 there is opposition to building the walls. There is ridicule and there are threats to their lives from all corners. This Sunday evening I'm going to look at the same passage of Scripture as I did last week, but this time with a focus upon the prayer strategy of Nehemiah.
Nehemiah 4 - Overcoming Discouragement
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 5th February 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 4
We left chapter 3 of Nehemiah with the workers rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem zealously. By chapter 4, discouragement is setting in. They were being ridiculed; they were worn out and ready to give up. This Sunday evening I want to look at the characteristics of discouragement, how we can avoid it, and what to do when we find ourselves sinking into it.

Nehemiah 3 - Time to Build, Workers on the Wall
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 22nd January 2017 6:00pm | Nehemiah 3:1-32
The third chapter of Nehemiah reminds me of some of the long lists of names found in genealogies in such places as Chronicles and other parts of the Bible. The temptation is to skip such lists, (especially when the names are hard to pronounce) but all Scripture is inspired, and this chapter is no exception. This Sunday I want to attempt to glean some principles for building that will be useful as we consider our approach to building the church spiritually and physically.
Nehemiah 2 - Where Do You Start?
by Pastor Ian Sharp, Sunday 15th January 2017 6:00pm
Jerusalem has been in ruins for nearly 150 years. Previous attempts at rebuilding had failed. Nehemiah turns up on the scene – but where does he start? This Sunday night we will explore some principles from Nehemiah 2 that will help us to begin sorting out a tough job.
