Jesus, Superior to Moses – Hebrews 3: 1-6

In Chapter One of Hebrews the writer is keen to underline the deity of Christ. Chapter Two is about Jesus being superior to the angels. Chapter Three is about Jesus being superior to Moses. Moses is perhaps one of the most significant men in the Old Testament. He had led the children of Israel out of Egypt, received the Law, written the first five books of the bible; he had been a leader and hero. No Jew would follow a man with fewer credentials than Moses; he’s got be proved to be better than Moses, and this is what the writer to the Hebrews does. This is where my message this Sunday leads, how and why Jesus is superior to Moses. Join us in person or online, I know that you are going to be blessed.

Cafe Plus

Ministry

Café Plus is the focal point for Elim's ministry in the Holme Valley. Situated on Westgate in Honley village centre, it is as its name suggests, more than just a café.

Where we meet

Our church is based in Honley, in the Holme Valley, four miles south of Huddersfield. We worship on Sunday evenings at 18:00pm in the Trinity Church building at Moorbottom.
