The Prophecies of the Birth of Jesus 

If you counted up all the prophecies of Jesus in the Old Testament they would amount to over 300. I’m not going look at all 300 this Sunday, but focus on three – That He would be born of a virgin; born of the line of David; and born in Bethlehem. As well as noting that each prophecy was fulfilled I want us to notice the theological significance and the practical application of them for us today.

We give heartfelt thanks to Pastor Ian & Gail Sharp for nearly 30 years of faithful ministry in planting and nurturing the Elim Pentecostal Church Holme Valley. As they step into retirement, we look forward with joy to welcoming Nick and Lesley Whipps in the New Year, and we look forward with joy and expectation to all that God has planned for our church and for the wider Holme Valley community.

Where we meet

Our church is based in Honley, in the Holme Valley, four miles south of Huddersfield. We worship on Sunday evenings at 18:00pm in the Trinity Church building at Moorbottom.
