As we turn the page into a new year, our church family enters a new chapter in its story. After nearly 30 years of faithful service, our beloved Pastor Ian and Gail Sharp will be retiring at the end of this year. Together they planted this church here in Honley, nurturing it from its earliest days into the vibrant community of faith we know today. Their vision, dedication, and love for Christ have shaped not only our congregation but also the wider community, and we give thanks to God for their remarkable ministry.

WELCOME to our New Pastor: Nick Whipps
We give heartfelt thanks to Pastor Ian & Gail Sharp for nearly 30 years of faithful ministry in planting and nurturing the Elim Pentecostal Church Holme Valley. As they step into retirement, we look forward with joy to welcoming Nick and Lesley Whipps in the New Year, and we look forward with joy and expectation to all that God has planned for our church and for the wider Holme Valley community.

Welcoming Pastor Nick & Lesley Whipps
Elim Pentecostal Church Holme Valley are delighted to announce that Pastor Nick Whipps will be joining as our new Pastor from January 2026. Nick, together with his wife Lesley, bring a wealth of wisdom and experience from many years of ministry within Elim, along with a clear sense of God's calling to lead our church into the years ahead.
As they prepare to relocate, we invite you to join us for the formal Induction Service on Saturday 10th January at 2:30pm.
